BIO:

Dr. Ashley West is a proud native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. West received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- New Orleans in 2021. She went on to complete her internship and residency at LSU Health-University Hospital and Clinics Family Medicine Residency Program in Lafayette, Louisiana where she served as chief resident during her final year. During her training, Dr. West was awarded intern of the year, the Albert C. Rees, MD award (outstanding graduate) and the Chair’s Award. She joined Hamilton Medical Group in September 2024.

Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. West is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. West is married to her wonderful husband Zach and has three sweet and energetic sons Hudson, Fletcher and Levitt. During her spare time, Dr. West enjoys spending time with her family and friends and watching football and baseball.
