BIO:

​

Dr. George Sobiesk received his D.P.M from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California in 1994. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1985 and also his M.S. from Louisiana State University in 1988. Dr. Sobiesk completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at St. John Hospital Northshore, Harrison Township, Michigan 1997.

 

Dr. Sobiesk is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Sobiesk is an Associate in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. In May of 1994 Dr. Sobiesk was awarded Pi Delta National Podiatric Medical Honor Society and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and College. He as on the National Dean’s List at California College of Podiatric Medicine from 1990-1994 and also on the National Dean’s List at Louisiana State University from 1986-1988.

 

Dr. Sobiesk has participated in numerous Lectures and Publications; The American Journal of Sports Medicine, The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery: July/August, 1998, The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery: September/October 1997, and Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery: April, 1994.

Prior to joining Hamilton Medical Group in 2003, Dr. Sobiesk had his own practice from 1997 to 2002. He is affiliated with Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Lafayette General Medical Center, and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
