BIO:

Dr. George A. Sobiesk is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with three decades of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1994, following a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Louisiana State University. He completed a three-year Podiatric Surgical Residency at St. John Hospital Northshore in Harrison Township, Michigan.
 

Since joining Hamilton Medical Group in 2003, Dr. Sobiesk has provided comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients throughout Acadiana. Prior to that, he maintained a private practice in Lafayette from 1997 to 2002.

Dr. Sobiesk is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and holds Advanced Practice Certification in the Surgical Treatment of the Ankle from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. He is a diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
 

Throughout his career, Dr. Sobiesk has contributed to podiatric research and education through publications in leading medical journals and presentations at professional conferences. His academic achievements include induction into the Pi Delta National Podiatric Medical Honor Society and recognition on the National Dean’s List during both his undergraduate and podiatric medical education.​​​​
